Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Whimbrel, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Whimbrel does

Whimbrel turns booking confirmations you forward into a travel itinerary. A large language model reads your forwarded email and proposes itinerary items, and an in-app assistant can create and update trip data on your behalf.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for the activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information and let us know if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Forward content you do not have the right to share.
  • Interfere with, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service.
  • Access other people's accounts or data without permission.

Your content

The email you forward and the itineraries you build remain yours. You grant Whimbrel permission to process this content so we can provide the service, including passing forwarded email to the model that extracts itinerary items. You can edit or delete your content at any time.

Automated extraction

Itinerary items created from your email or by the assistant are generated automatically and may be incomplete or incorrect. Always confirm important details, such as dates, times, and confirmation numbers, against the original booking. Whimbrel is a planning aid, not a substitute for your travel providers.

Service provided as is

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whimbrel is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for missed connections, bookings, or plans arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Whimbrel and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or if needed to protect the service or its users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above, and continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
